Timelapse Video of Cilantro Seedling!

Timelapse video of roughly 30 hours of growth. This was cilantro that was planted about a week earlier and has continued to grow at a fast pace since. I’ve since incorporated a mini trellis to the pot so that they have something to climb. I am not sure if I will be able to eat these once they are ready! This was also my first timelapse video I’ve ever taken and reasonably impressed considering the whole setup only cost ~$20.

Why Grow Cilantro?

Cilantro is a great option for an urban garden for several reasons. First, it is a herb that can be grown in containers and does not require space. This makes it an ideal option for those who live in apartments or have limited outdoor space. Additionally, cilantro is a fast-growing plant that can be harvested multiple times, as you can see from the video. This means that even if you have a small garden, you can still enjoy a steady supply of fresh cilantro. Another reason why cilantro is a good option for an urban garden is that it is a versatile herb that can be used in a variety of cuisines. Finally, cilantro is a nutrient-rich herb that contains vitamins A, C, and K, as well as minerals like calcium and iron, making it a healthy and flavorful addition to any meal.

There is a segment of the population that cannot taste the flavor of Cilantro. For those individuals, basil is an equally easy herb to grow at home.
